Brian's Battle Brigade

The Hoenig family has certainly gone through our share of ups and downs the past several years, and one of us is again fighting against that dreaded "C" word. Cancer. Brian has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time in 13 years with ongoing complications and an upcoming major surgery.  For all of us that know and love Brian, now is the time to rally around him! He and Patty will be spending several weeks, starting the first week of March, in Houston, Texas. Brian will be having surgery at MD Anderson, the leading head and neck cancer facility in the U.S. They will need to stay in Houston for 4- 6 weeks, and will have follow up visits in the coming months after the initial surgery. This will put a huge financial burden on this couple that is loved so much by family and friends.

 Please consider this a call to ACTION for family and friends to rally around Brian and Patty and consider making a donation to assist with their living expenses, travelling expenses, deductible payments and loss of income while Patty is out of work and caring for Brian.  Knowing there will be financial support along with a support system of family and friends will help ease the financial burden and will allow them to concentrate on the most important issue, getting Brian back to better health.  Brian's journey does not end after surgery.  He will have rehabilitation and therapy to assist him in getting back to a normal life.
