Hi everyone, this is our mom, Darlene. She’s kind of a badass and for those who know her, they know she’s a stubborn, strong, hardworking woman. Unfortunately, in January of 2023, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. That didn’t slow her down; she went through chemo and kept working. Some of you may have seen her during this time. It was difficult to see the strongest woman I have ever known go through that.

Following that she went through radiation in October and between the chemo and radiation she tried 2 different immunotherapies that didn’t work.

The doctors have told her she is incurable.

The cancer caused blood clots along with other side effects, and last October in 2024, the blood clots got worse. She wasn’t able to work because she couldn’t walk, and she was in and out of the hospital. Then January 2025 hit, and it got way worse. She was expecting to get her blood thinners in order and get back to work, but her body started to work against her. She was hospitalized for the final time in March 2025, and they couldn’t get the swelling down. Her poor legs and ankles swelled up so bad she is using a walker to get around. 13 surgeries later, and nothing is helping.

I am starting this page to try to get help for her to pay her bills, food, and expenses to get to the doctors. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, and please keep her in your prayers.
