This is an urgent support request!

We need donations for the shelter project for my family affected by the recent earthquake in Hatay, Turkey.

About Me:

Hello, my name is Necati Kuh. I am from Hatay, Turkey. Currently, I am living in Toronto going to school and working in the hospitality industry.

Due to the earthquake, my hometown is in ruins. My family, and my closest friends, have lost everything. Their homes are gone, and their vehicles are destroyed. My brother has converted the green house tent in the backyard into a makeshift home. The conditions my family is living in are desperate.

This breaks my heart to know what struggles they face every day. I am doing everything in my ability to help them on this side of the world. Unfortunately, the challenges are far too much for me to achieve alone. I need your support. I need your help. I pray that you can find it in your hearts to donate anything you can. Every dollar donated will go towards helping my family.

My Family:

My father and my siblings are living in Antakya, Hatay, TURKEY. I have 9 brothers and 2 sisters. They are all married, and they all have kids. Aside from one of my brothers and me, all of my family was living in Antakya when the earthquake hit.

Since then, a lot of them have spread across various cities in Turkey that have better living conditions and better government support. While some siblings still stay trying to rebuild the homes they all have lost.

Everybody wants to come back home. They pray and hope for the day that they can.

My Plan:

I am planning to purchase furnished prefab houses for my family with the donations given. The goal is to purchase 2 of these homes so that my family living in the makeshift tents can live in something with better protection from outside elements and a place more familiar.

To add, I also plan to use these donations to help with the expenses my family has since acquired.
