I’m making this in regards to my cousin and his fiancé’s puppy they got in February. this journey is very expensive, I can only imagine all the imaging, surgery and radiation. Any help is much appreciated

little back story—

So we got Winnie in Feb she was 4 months old and by the end of the month she was not walking very well to the point where she wasn’t walking at all. We thought at first she got into something (black walnuts) and that she would get better but when she didn’t get any better our vet had us bring her to the WSU neurologist who got her in very quick based on her symptoms. On Wednesday they did MRI which showed a 2.5x1.5 cm tumor on her spinal cord just below her ribs. They couldn’t see any spinal cord around it in the imaging so they weren’t hopeful that she’d ever get her movement to return but if we remove the tumor she could hopefully retain the movement she does have (wagging her tail and being able to stand). She is currently as WSU now, had surgery this morning and we’re waiting to hear from them tomorrow on how she’s doing and what the results are. It’s likely cancer from what they saw and if so she will need to go back for 13-20 days of radiation.
