Hello everyone,
My name is Rachel and I'm writing this on the behalf of my brother Joseph Boyles and his family. On the afternoon of Friday, July 14, 2017, while traveling back home from Hereford TX, where they were visiting family of his beloved girlfriend Connie Castaneda, they were struck by a oncoming SUV that lost control and hit them head on in Nolan County just out of Sweetwater. Traveling with Joesph and Connie were her son, John (11 years old), and her granddaughter, Calleia (6 years old). With the heavest of hearts, Connie did not surive the crash. Her son John endured minor injuries, Calleia was transported to Lubbock, Joseph Boyles was transported to Hendricks, both in critical condition.
Calleia broke her collarbone in addition to other serious conditions that cannot be disclosed at this time. Her mother Cassie Castaneda-Hurtado has traveled from Goldboro, NC, and is with her now. My little brother Joseph has injuries to both his ankles, one is broken and the other has a hairline fracture, which are the latter of his injuries. He had to undergo major abdominal surgery to stop internal bleeding which resulted in the removal of a portion of his intestines. He currently has a fever and doctors worry about him succumbing to infection. He is bedridden and is going to have to have serveral months of intensive rehabilitation to be able to walk again. My mother Rosa Boyles and Grandmother (LuLu) Mary Faircloth has traveled from Burgaw, NC, to be with him but has had to return back home today. My mother Rosa will be returning to help Joseph with his recovery immediately in efforts to trying to get him closer back to his home in Buda, TX. My brother was about a month away from getting health insurance. As many of you know, Joseph and Connie just reasonally purchased a home together less than a month ago with their boys, John and Josh. This was a major achievement unlock for them and they where very happy reaching this goal together. Joseph and Connie where inseparable and loved each other very deeply. This beautiful family would do anything and everything for their family and friends they loved to travel and were infectious to be around. I am asking for donations to help assist Joseph and the boys so they can maintain their new home and livelihood during this tragic loss of their amazing mother and partner. Anything you can donate to help this sweet family in their time of great need is tremendously appreciated. For more details on how you can help my family please don't hesistate to call me or contact me on facebook or email by the information provided below. Thank you so very much. I love you all.
