As most of you know, my brother Mike is not a person who asks for help - even when he really needs it! So I'm reaching out to our friends and family across the country and asking for prayers for Mike and his family as well as financial support if you can.
Mike is 44 years old, a devoted husband, father, brother and son. If you are lucky enough to personally know Mike, you know that he is a thoughtful, hard-working, and fun-loving man with a heart of gold. Mike is currently battling esophageal cancer and has just finished his chemo and radiation treatments. Although he has worked as much as possible over the last couple months, he has been unable to work for the last month. He will be undergoing surgery at the Cleveland Clinic on the 28th of May and will be there at least ten days.
Mike has been very courageous throughout his treatment and, as usual, is always worried about how everyone else is doing.
With all the procedures and medical expenses as well as being unable to work, the bills are starting to accumulate. It would be great if we could help reduce Mikey's financial stress so that he can focus on a speedy recovery when the time comes! If you are able to give money, every little bit helps. If you are unable to give money, prayers and positive vibes are very much appreciated as well! This battle is going to be long and hard, and we need you all.
