Tyler Head Stem Cell Treatment Fund

Donation protected
My name is Tyler Head, on December 29, 2012 I broke my neck in a wrestling match while competing in a tournament for my high school. I sustained two broken vertebrae in my neck, c5 and c6, and as a result I immediately lost all feeling and movement from my neck down as a result of the spinal cord injury (quadriplegic). Over the past 2 1/2 years I've engaged in rigorous therapy through the Shepherd Center and have gained a fair amount of strength and movement back but there is still plenty of room for improvement. There is no direct cure for spinal cord injuries but over the years experiments through stem cell procedures have boasted promising results. After talking with our friends the Garstins, whose son Hunter just had a stem cell procedure and is already having good results, we feel it's something we want to do aswell. The procedure uses stem cells from my own body (THIS IS NOT AN EMBRYONIC PROCEDURE) through extraction of bone marrow. Once the procedure is done it's up to me to work hard and build upon anything the stem cells give me.   The treatment center is in Switzerland and between the procedure, airfair, etc. we are looking at $25,000 worth of costs. We are asking for ANY donations. Spread the word if you know of anyone who would be willing to help! I'll keep you posted throughout the journey. We feel God has been steering us through this whole process and the time is right to get this done. I am ready to work hard and make your dollar go far!! Thank you and God bless.
