Kayla, my granddaughter, was tragically killed in a car accident on October 24, 2019. She was on her lunch break from work when broadsided and died at the scene.
Kayla left behind a husband, John, and a little two year old daughter, Emilia, besides her parents, grandparents, siblings and many aunts and uncles and cousins.
Kayla had a heart as big as the Rockies and a smile that would light up a room, she loved her husband and her daughter beyond measure. Kayla would do anything for anyone if they asked and she was able to comply.
As no 25 year old thinks of death, she and John had made no provisions for it in any way. Now all of a sudden, John is faced with trying to work, pay bills, buy groceries and take care of their young daughter, all on his own.
My goal is to try and relieve some of those pressures for him and to honor a granddaughter, my first, and to celebrate the person that she was. All funds will be monitored and disbursed by me, and would like to start helping John as soon as possible.
