Dear Friends and Family,
We hope this finds you well and that you are managing to stay safe and healthy during this time. We, Shadden Hashem, Emma Kempson, Amanda Molina, and Daeyana Moss, are currently seniors at the Conservatory of Dance at the State University of New York at Purchase. The time has now come for us to showcase all of the knowledge we have acquired throughout the past four years in a Senior Project Performance. This performance is the final requirement of our BFA degree and we are so excited for it!
Although dancing through a pandemic may not have been our original plan, we feel extremely fortunate and proud to be able to continue doing what we love through this difficult time. Our Senior Project Performance will take place on March 19th and 20th of this year and will consist of each of us performing a solo repertoire piece by professional choreographers as well as four group pieces showcasing our own choreography. To give you a better sense of who we are and what exactly we do, above is a short video including clips of our dancing and choreography.
Due to the unusual circumstances of the pandemic, we have been unable to fundraise for this event and are reaching out to you to see if you would be willing to help us out. Your monetary donation would help us cover the many expenses that putting on a show like this requires, such as costumes, props, lighting, photos, videos, travel expenses, and professional choreography fees.
If you are able to make a donation, we would be so incredibly appreciative! As a donor, we will be happy to include your name in the show program and will keep you in the loop on our performance details as well as how you can watch our performance through a livestream. We will continue to accept donations throughout the upcoming months.
