Hello my name is Chris Bachman! A group of friends and I have frequented Tiger’s Garden Restaurant in Vancouver, WA. for many years. We’ve become good friends with the owners, husband and wife, and soon to be new grandparents to their first grandchild, Kham and Vee. They opened Tiger’s Garden Restaurant in the year 2000. It’s been a favorite in Vancouver for 21 years! It’s also been such a great place for my friends and I to gather on a weekly basis. We’ve been so happy to be able to gather there once more! As we all know, many small businesses have closed during Covid. The more fortunate ones have remained, but are struggling to stay afloat now that places have opened up again. The other day when speaking with Vee, it has come to my attention that Tiger’s Garden nearly had to close! And when it rains it pours...they need to repair software for both of their cash registers, which as it turns out will cost more than expected. This repair alone most likely will cost them over $3000! Their cooling and refrigeration systems as well need much needed repair too!! Even though some of the time they could do a take out business this wasn’t the most profitable for them. Not sure if most of you know this or not, but when you order take out through online delivery services, in general, they charge restaurants 35% of the total of each order. The restaurant keeps the other 65%, and the tips go to the person who works for the online delivery service, not the employees who work in the restaurants. And to make matters even worse their lunch business, which was the most sustaining part of their business, has dwindled as most folks are still working from home. Again if you can, please donate to help keep Tiger’s Garden Restaurant stay open and running smoothly.The food is superb!  If you aren’t able to donate and you live near or around Tiger’s Garden, stop in for a bite! Help by giving them your business! Tell your friends to drop in for a bite, too! I recommend their Pad Thai Noodles and Ginger Stir Fry with Chicken. Their curry dishes are really delicious as well! Truly, all their food is so wonderfully tasty!!
