Cancer patient needs help

I am writing this campaign in hopes to assist my mother, Tami Brock, who has been battling stage 3 lung cancer for the past 7 months. It first showed up on the left side of her lung and through further testing was discovered that 2 lymph nodes were involved and there is also a nodule showing on the aorta. I am hoping through your donations I am able to offer her assistance financially to keep up with bills and the costs of living.
She has undergone 6 weeks of chemo and 6 weeks of daily radiation treatments. According to the doctors the cancer has decreased in size but initially the treatment has failed. As of now they have just recently discovered she now has Stage 4 Metastatic Lung Cancer in the rib bones and they want to do further testing to see if it has metastasized to her brain.
They are suggesting more chemo with a new biologic treatment of 3 different medicines to be introduced at one time via intravenous port. She is optimistic to try the new course of treatment. Along with her long list of ailments Tami’s is also in need of dental work. It is highly recommended that she get the seven infected teeth removed before she start any new treatment so the main focus of her immune system will be on the cancerous cells.
The removal process alone is a complete out of pocket expense since she does not have any type of dental insurance. The process would include but not limited to, having to travel to either Butler or Pittsburgh PA twice, plus the cost of the doctor visit and whatever exams that are needed before extraction, the extraction itself and whatever aftercare and medications that will be prescribed when the extraction is complete. My mother cannot drive in her current state, which leaves my stepfather, the soul provider of the household, to miss more work, which has already caused extreme damage to their current financial state.
This campaign is to help offset some of the costs that have accrued paying for insurance, co-pays, medications, and travel to/from appointments and every day bills. They have received assistance from a local cancer fund but it is limited and they do not offer assistance with medical procedures, co-pays or insurance payments.
This is an absolute dire situation. My parents are good people who rarely ask anything from anyone. They have gone through so much this year, not only from my mother’s diagnosis but they have also lost their home and were forced to move in the middle of my mother’s treatment. The bills have been piling up and credit cards have been maxed out trying to stay afloat. Anything you can give, even in its smallest measure will mean the world to my parents. Day to day life we all take for granted has become a nightmare for them to endure.
