Hi, we are Tiff and Curtis Snyder and we live on Maui. We are asking for $10 donations so that we can raise money to help buy supplies and deliver them directly to evacuation shelters and local families in need who have lost absolutely everything in the fires.
On Tuesday August 8th, 2023, wild fires ripped through Maui, destroying homes, businesses and many historical buildings. Thousands of Maui residents had to flea their homes without warning and have lost everything they own. The death toll continues to rise and as of today (11th August, 2023), there are 2800 people missing/unaccounted for.
The Maui community is in desperate need of help and supplies including water, gas, diapers, baby formula, feminine mensturation products, men, womens, kids underwear and clothing, bedding, food, first aid essentials...the list goes on!
Every cent that we raise will be spent on whatever supplies are required as the demands seem to change on a daily basis as to what is desperately needed. The supplies will be purchased by us and delivered by us to evacuation centres and local families in need.
We will share photos (on our instagrams) of receipts of purchases to demonstrate what your kind contribution has gone towards.
