Hello,

I am Mohammed Hani Radwan, a Palestinian from Gaza.

I am 30 years old and have 10 family members that consist of my Mother (58) my brothers, Hamdy (26) and Kamal (40) and his wife with their 3 children, Souad (13), Rayan (11) and Elian (6), along with my widowed sister, Saja and her son Hamza (10).

We were residing in our house in eastern Khan Yunis.

We had our lives and we all had our own jobs - I ran a clothing store selling women’s abaya’s.

Then the war came and destroyed everything for us.

We moved to the center of the country, to a place not suitable for living. We spent a whole month there hiding out and suffering from lack of water and food.

After they raided the city center and destroyed everything with severe bombardment, we miraculously got out and were displaced again to a shelter center in the Al-Bayouk area, Al-Nasr neighborhood, north of Rafah.

The past 6 months we have been hiding out in this small school, in Rafah and every second our lives are in danger.

We wake and sleep to the sounds of constant bombing and machine guns around us.

We live with the loud sounds of buzzing surveillance war planes hovering over us 24/7.

The children are scared, and hungry. We are scared, and hungry.

Food is scarce, water is scarce, there's no sanitation. No basic human needs are met in these conditions.

We as a family of 10 are all sharing, living in and sleeping in one tent.

We somehow managed to survive the winter but the scorching heat of summer in a tent shared with 10 people with extremely limited access to water will make living unbearable.

We suffer bitterly, and there are no minimum necessities for life here.

We wait long hours to get portable water that is unclean and sleep in the open.

We have been infected with many diseases here.

We want to escape from here, my family and I. The war has destroyed everything and we have nothing left. I have lost so many of my relatives in this war, I cannot lose any more of my family.

We only have one way to escape, which is to leave the Rafah crossing to into Egypt.

But because of this war, it has become very difficult to get out of here and survive, as the cost per person is $5000 USD to cross the border into Egypt.

I am afraid of losing my family. I want to protect them, and get them out of Gaza, especially my niece and nephews.

They deserve to have a normal life, with access to food, clean water, a bed to sleep in… a safe place.

They are only children, and are being robbed of their childhood.

I come to you humbly to please help and donate anything you can to get me a step closer to saving my families lives, and give my young niece and nephews a chance at not only a normal life, but a chance at life.
