House Fire Recovery

I am Jamie Briar and it's with a saddened heart that I share my very best friend Yanske (Jessica Yanske - Klages) and her 5 children lost their home to a terrible fire last evening, 2/15/2023. Everything is gone. Including their beloved pets.

She's a single mother with inconsistent child support that is a full-time teacher for DMPS. She also works part-time at Target in Des Moines. So income is limited as it is.

She is the most caring, down to earth, loving, giving human that would never ask for help. I am asking for any help, assistance or donations for them at this time.

Red Cross is helping some.

She's awaiting for her homeowners insurance to figure out the details (coverage, future home, current location to stay).

I'd like to get her and the kiddos their basic needs for the next few weeks until everything starts coming together.

Looking for clothes, shoes, toys, books, electronics, games, kitchenware, furniture, bedding, etc.

She will literally be starting over once she figures out her new home plan. Current home that burned sat on approximately 2 acres in southern Carlisle.

I love this girl and her kids with all of my being, and my heart is shattered for them.
