Help Christopher in his fight against AML Cancer
Donation protected
Christopher has Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) diagnosed earlier this year. Without treatment, his prognosis was dire. This is understandably a scary time for Christopher and his family. While we feel confident with the treatment now in place, and the team of doctors by his side, the future holds uncertainties related to day-to-day living and longevity of life. Please consider supporting him with a donation so Christopher can focus on fighting this cancer rather than worrying about medical and drug expenses, normal monthly bills, and loss of work. Those of you who know Christopher know that he cares deeply for his friends, their families, and all the people he has been able to care for.
Right now, he is the one who needs your help and support. Please donate if you can, and feel free to share this link with friends and family. Thank you so much for your consideration and God bless you!
Details:
Curing AML requires multiple consecutive phases or cycles. Recently diagnosed through a bone marrow biopsy, a chemotherapy treatment plan has begun. The goal is to identify zero blast cells created in the bone marrow. (Aka. Remission)
The second half of this journey is the longer one of the two. A successful stem-cell transplant will cure Christopher’s cancer. Transplant requirements include remission and a suitable stem-cell donor. We are still looking for a donor currently. Should you like to supply your saliva as a potential donor match, here is the link to receive the kit. Once submitted, let us know your ID number. Only those under sixty years old are considered. https://my.bethematch.org/s/join
The stem-cell transplant phase last for approximately one hundred days provided everything goes well and will require Christopher to reside at the Mayo Clinic Campus in Arizona during this whole time. Christopher will use the funds donated here to support insurance co-pays, transportation, lodging, food, and unforeseen expenses while having to reside on the Mayo Clinic Campus for those 100+ days.
Our faith carries us through the highs and lows of life. God, friends, and family carry Christopher. God is good. It is God who has shown that faith in him, and prayer to him, will see us through this. Finding a stem-cell donor and cancer remission are in our prayers.
We are grateful more than words can say for any donations we receive. Thank you!
