From the Ashes

I am a 39 year old artist trapped in a drudgery job doers body. I have recently completed an AoS in Graphic Design and do desire to continue my education, but my greatest desire is to create art. I was on the road to my creative dream but I continue to stumble. Five years ago I lost my greatest backers and biggest influences in losing my older brother and a few months later my older sister. Both were brilliant and creative but never saw the light of a career in art. Seeing them pass relatively young, spurred me to dig out of the darkness and start getting my stuff out there.

Getting educated both formally and informally... I had the burning desire, the spark I needed... and 4 years go by and I am honing my skills, a small degree under my belt and constructing a portfolio to really get myself out there and I got knocked right back down. Art supplies ruined, computer ruined, graphics tablet ruined... I had lost almost everything I worked for... the sites I list here are old but all that remains of my work. I want back on that unicycle... I want again to be able to create art.
