Support Deanna in her recovery from this awful Injury!!
Donation protected
On November 26,2024, Deanna (also known as Beannie or Momma D) had taken her 2-yr-old grandson to his weekly swim class. They completed class, gotten dressed when Deanna began experiencing tingling in her extremities, seeing stars and had a severe headache (reportedly the worst headache a person can ever experience!). She then told the school staff and they called an ambulance. When she arrived at the emergency department, she was incoherent and required breathing assistance. She had a tube placed into her lungs and was now on life support. The CT scan revealed a huge subarachnoid hemorrhage as the result of a large ruptured aneurysm. with blood throughout all 4 ventricles of her brain and the basal ganglia, It was quickly determined that she required much more specialized care than was available in Stark County and she was then Life Flighted to Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. She was taken to neuro ICU (a cutting edge, world class unit) and seen by the neuro-intensivist. The neuro-interventionist performed a “Coil” procedure on the aneurysm that was bleeding. The doctors stopped the bleeding but she was graded as having suffered the highest subarachnoid hemorrhage. She remains in the neuro ICU with a drain in her brain, on a ventilator but is making small improvements daily.
Deanna is a SUPER hard-working woman who raised 3 sons on her own. She’s a waitress at Rooster’s and takes care of her customers like they are family! Deanna is absolutely stringent on meeting her expenses and would daily take her tips to the bank to deposit! Maintaining a home, vehicle and life’s general expenses isn’t easy for any of us but now her ability to return to work is impaired! We are praying that she can come back to work, but we know it’s going to take Herculean strength and tincture of time… but if anyone can do it this spirited, kind-hearted woman can do it! We appreciate everyone’s love and support during this time. Thank you for helping our MOM. ❤️
