Help for Mitchell Warnock

This is our son, Mitchell Warnock. On January 6, he went to the ER because he had been very sick for a few days and had severe abdominal pain. His colon had ruptured. They did emergency surgery that evening and had to remove one and a half feet of his colon. We found out that this was caused by diverticulitis. We honestly do not know all of the medical terms or understand much about this medical problem. What we do know is that our son could have died, and we are most grateful to our Heavenly Father for sparing his life. Mitchell will have to have a colostomy bag for the next three months while his colon heals. Then he will face another surgery to reattach his bowels. His lower incision also became infected five days after the surgery, so the staples had to be removed and the wound left open to heal (which could take a couple of months). Mitchell is a plumber and has a very physical job. We cannot imagine that he will be able to work while he is healing and going through this process. They do have health insurance, but we are sure that the portion that they are responsible for will be quite a bit. Mitchell and his wife, Ashley, have been married for five years and have a wonderful little boy named Jimmy. Mitchell is a great dad and quite honestly the kindest person in the world. He would do anything for anyone at anytime. We do not want Mitchell to worry about how he will support his family and pay for medical bills. We want him to concentrate on getting better. We will help him out as much as we can, but we cannot do it alone. If you feel led to give to help our son, we will be most grateful. We also ask for your prayers for him and his family. We know God has a reason for this, and we know that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
