Officer Byrum's Son's Medical Costs

Officer Byrum is the resource officer at Weddington High School. His one-year old son, Clayton, has been diagnosed with Staff Scolding Skin Syndrome. It has spread to his back and is starting on his hands. SSS syndrome is caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and results in red blistering on the skin. Please contribute to help the Byrum family pay for medical expenses. He has been at Levine Children's Hospital, but is being transported to a hospital in Chapel Hill for treatment.
