Help the StineCass Family Rebuild Their Home

Donation protected

Frank Stinehour and James Cass have been members of the Tampa theater community for over 20 years. From working box office, stage crew, directing, painting, and photography, their talents and skills have shaped many community theaters over the years. Together for over 30 years, James and Frank have built a home of love, creativity, and acceptance with their two recently adopted sons, Chris and Nate, both 13 years old.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, August 5th, a devastating fire spread through the StineCass home. Started by a fallen lamp, the fire has caused massive fire, water, and smoke damage throughout their home. Frank, James, and their two sons, Chris and Nate, got out of the house safely along with two pets: Tammy and Toby. Unfortunately, the family cat, Princess, died.

Much of their home will have to be rebuilt and many of their possessions were lost and will have to replaced. The recovery and rebuilding process will last 6-8 months, and during that time, they need to find temporary rental housing near Chris' and Nate's schools.

Many have asked how best to help James and Frank during this crisis. The funds from this campaign will go the StineCass family to ease the financial burden of rental deposits and payments, upfront costs, food, and the immediate replacement of clothes, shoes, school supplies, kitchen supplies, and other necessities. Thank you for your support and willingness to help the StineCass family through this time.
