Our sweet sister, Johanna, and her husband, Juan, father of 8 children, need help.

Juan is struggling to walk. 

He is 42 years young and went from walking, to weakness, to assisted walking, and now not being able to bear any weight at all on his legs. We do not know what started this or how to keep his condition from getting any worse.

He continues to decline with severe weakness in his legs. After running every test they can think of and an 11 day hospital stay, the doctors are hopeful that with physical therapy care he will recover. They need our help with the cost of medical expenses.  

Johanna, who has such a beautiful heart and selflessly gives to others, now needs our help. She is overwhelmed with caring for her ill husband and their children, ranging in age from 2 to 17 years old.

We are hopeful we can come together and make a difference. We are grateful for each and every person who is able to help ease this family's struggle.

"We are trying to keep a level head and only focus on taking the next step(s) needed, trying not to worry the kids as we process everything and figure out what is wrong. The truth of it is, we are in the dark. Getting through the next few weeks will tell us a lot about where life stands for us and our family. My husband is a wonderful, giving human being and amazing father to our children, always providing for them."
