Last week, Sean was in a work-related injury that left his dominant hand mangled and completely unusable at the moment (and probably for a very long time).
Sean is unable to work at all. His hand injury requires ongoing treatment, specialist visits, and possible future procedures. Workers' compensation has a mandatory 30-day waiting period before any financial help can begin, meaning they currently have no income coming in at all while still trying to keep up with rent, bills, groceries, and caring for his daughter Ivy — all with Christmas only a few weeks away.
Sean is the type of person who works hard, takes pride in providing for his family, and never asks for anything. But this situation is something they never expected and can’t get through alone.
We are asking for help to get them through the next few weeks until workers' comp begins paying, and to help cover essential expenses like:
• rent
• utilities
• groceries
• transportation to medical appointments
• basic needs for his daughter
• Christmas, if possible
Any amount helps more than you know — even $5 makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this link is just as helpful.
From Candace and Sean:
“We truly appreciate the love, support, prayers, and kindness from everyone. Thank you for being here for Sean and our family during the hardest time we’ve ever faced. Our heads are still up ❤️”
