Assistance

Odilia Yembeau (my aunt) is a wife and mother of 4 children aged 2,5,7 and 9 years old. A year ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. This came as a surprise to everyone given no previous history of this disease. I was particularly affected because she raised me, has always been there for me and is my best friend. Her husband and the whole family contributed so she could receive appropriate care in India.  While undergoing treatment, her husband (Alain Bertrand Yembeau) was diagnosed with stage IV bile duct cancer which has metastasized to his lungs, liver, and gallbladder. The first prognostic given by doctors was that he had only 6months left to live. We all could not believe this was happening and we all thought about the kids. They are so young and innocent and do not deserve to have both parents to be in this situation.
We decided to seek a second opinion from doctors in India who reassured us something can still be done. However, the cost of treatment can go up to 30000$ or more given several rounds of chemotherapy, surgeries, medications, and scans they both have to undergo. Both of them due to their condition cannot work anymore and are not covered by any health insurance in India. We have been supporting them to the best of our abilities, but we are running out of funds.
