On Tuesday of last week these 3 children ages 13, 15, and 17 tragically endured the loss of their mother.  Two days later we had to inform those already heartbroken children, that their father had also passed away.  This horrifically leaving their whole lives turned upside down. In the mist of burying their mother they needed to consider with who and where they would live.  They are also left with the task of burying their father. These children need lay their father to rest with their mother to begin the healing process. We have been chosen as guardians for these children. We are honored, blessed and thankful to have the room in our home and hearts. As each weight lifts you see a small glimpse of hope return in their eyes.  As you sit with family and friends this Thanksgiving please say a prayer for these kids.  As you can imagine they are struggling to find things to be thankful for.  My heart breaks for them. We are asking for donations to help with the cost of the funeral. If any additional money is raised, it will be used for their immediate needs.
