Meet Miss Peanut Butter!

As many of you know our sweet dog Honey passed away on February 8th which shattered our hearts and added some unexpected costs. Not even a week later, we were informed our precious Peanut Butter has Lymphoma (Cancer). Peanut Butter recently turned 4 and still has a lot of spunk. We thought we would have many more years with our sweet babe, so this came as a shock.

After Honey passed, we noticed Peanut Butter was not eating or drinking which we thought was caused by depression of losing her best friend. While giving her some loves we noticed a small lump on her throat, so being paranoid after just losing Honey, we rushed her in to get it checked out. After some tests, it was confirmed she had Cancer, and her life expectancy was unknown until we met with an Oncologist. We immediately got her on Entyce in the meantime which has helped significantly, and she's been eating and drinking much more.

We met with the Oncologist today and they do want to start Chemotherapy as soon as possible. She is having her bloodwork done now and when they receive the results we will know more. It will be a 25-week treatment and costs are expected around $10,000. With Peanut Butter being so healthy and believing the Cancer has not spread further than her throat yet, we have high hopes we can give her a fighting chance of a longer life.

With all that arose, it has caused a bit of financial strain. We would be eternally grateful for your thoughts and prayers, and even if you have a dollar to spare, it would help tremendously.

We're not ready to lose our second baby, our pups have always been our world. We will provide updates and cute photos of our precious Peanut Butter and we truly appreciate any help.
