Daddy’s girl

Last night I got the dreaded phone call that my Dad was not looking good. I rushed home from work to get one last FaceTime call in. My heart is breaking!! He’s made it through the night but today has been rough. Mom called me this morning to say what we thought was going to be goodbye.... toughest twenty min FaceTime I have ever endured. He’s managed to pull through and is at home resting. He’s told me not to come home and that if he has another bad night, he’ll go to the hospital and I can make arrangements then. I need to get home before this happens. I want time with him and Olivia while we can all remember it  I’ve never been one to ask for help, but in this desperate time, I need to swallow my pride and ask for help. I’ve tried looking for flights to get home as soon as I can. I’ve called airlines and asked for breavement/ illness fares and it still comes out to be a thousand dollars. I definitely don’t have a thousand dollars laying around to get me home. In this moment, I’m asking for the help to get home to spend as much time with my Dad before it is his time to go. Any little bit helps!
