At the beginning of January, Sofia Garcia was diagnosed with Germinoma in the Pituitary Gland. Since then she has had 2 Brain MRI's and a spinal tap to check the levels of the germ cell tumor. Although her prognosis is good, her treatment will be an extensive 6 months of chemo and radiation. Treatment is @ Nicklaus Childrens Hospital where she is currently in her second chemo session. Her mother Natalie has stopped working to give her the care she needs staying by her side at all times. In this difficult journey of treatment and recovery, the money will be used to assist Natalie care for Sofia.
