Daisha's Trip to New York City

Hello Family and Friends, due to recent international tragic events the school has decided not to travel to Germany at this time in the interest of the safety of our children. Instead they will be traveling to New York City. The itinerary is still being finalized and will include a number of choir performances at various historical venues and tours of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and 9/11 Memorials. They may also attend a couple of Broadway plays as well as a behind the scenes tour of Broadway to get insight on the production of a Broadway play.
With this change, the costs for the trip has decrease by nearly half and because of the generosity of many of you we have already raised enough money for Daisha to make the trip to New York and fully participate in all planned events. Because of this we are no longer accepting donations for this trip.
On behalf of Daisha and our entire family, we personally thank everyone who was able to donate for this event and thank everyone for praying for Daisha’s well-being in pursue of this wonderful experience.

This year I have an opportunity to join my school choir on a weeklong trip to Germany and The Czech Republic to perform and participate in the Music Celebration International tour. In this tour we will be traveling to Berlin, Leipzig, and Prague to perform in a number of historical venues with some sightseeing along the way.
This trip is very important to me because it allows me to bring together my love of travel, love for music and singing, and enjoy this wonderful experience alongside some of my closest friends and classmates. This is a great chance for me to experience other cultures and music which I believe will be useful in my future career. Traveling and seeing the world is one of my passions and I know it will help to make me a well-rounded individual with tolerance for the differences in cultures and behaviors that make up the world today.
The flights, transportation, hotels, and entry fees for the different venues will be expensive. I know my parents will do their best to help me go on this trip but I what to do everything in my power to help raise money so that I can go. So I am asking my friends and family members to donate to my go fund me account. If you could donate as little as $20 it will go a long way in helping me go on the trip of a life time. Even if you cannot give $20 any little amount you can afford will be helpful in reaching my goal. Payment for the trip is due to my school by January 15th, 2016. I appreciate your help in reaching my goal and getting the opportunity to travel to Germany and The Czech Republic.
