Help Tina and Carlos

 
My son-in-law, Carlos, recently found out he has cancer in his lymph nodes. They did surgery last week to discover that it was not lymphoma but squamous cell carcinoma. They do not know where the source of the cancer is but it has spread to the lymph nodes. Those lymph nodes have shown signs that the cancer also has spread from there. He has a Pet scan scheduled in the first week in June to see where all the cancer is.

They met with the cancer center in Erie, Pa.   Although it is... very treatable but the treatment itself is a long hard road. He will have issues with swallowing and eating. It is a painful therapy and of course all the other affects that come with radiation/chemo treatments. He will be receiving radiation/chemo for 6 weeks. Starting June 15th. He is blessed because of his age and current physical state, the doctors said that will help. Your continued prayers and support are welcomed. Please pray that he can get through these six week with not a lot of side affects and be able to eat and still swallow. He wants to avoid a feeding tube.  He will be seeing a physical therapist who specializes in throat issues. He will also be seeing a nutritionist while he is in therapy to make sure he is not losing weight.

During this time Carlos will not be able to work so there is a financial burden for them. Three plus months can put them in a position where they could loose everything. 

So please help them!
