This is my 11yo boy, Puck.
A genuinely sweet gentleman cat I had the great fortune to rescue. He’s been rescuing me ever since. Now, he needs rescue again.
Saturday, June 22nd, I had to rush him to hospital. He had stopped eating and his breathing was strained. The wonderfully kind vets saw him immediately and commenced running tests, bloodwork and X-rays.
He remained in hospital for four days. Pneumonia and Cancer were ruled out, to my great relief. The diagnosis was heart and respiratory issues. When he came home, it was with multiple medications and an inhaler.
One week later, he started rebounding. Eating a lot, purring a lot, and playing with his 15 month old sister. He vehemently dislikes the twice a day medications (pills and liquid) but doesn’t mind the inhaler. They’re still essential at this point, and he returns to the Dr. weekly for blood tests.
This little guy is extremely important to his family and friends. The world is a better place with him in it.
The hospital, medications and return testing have completely drained my savings and stretched my credit to breaking point. To keep him alive and thriving, I need your help.
