A Friend with a big Heart ❤️

Hi Friends,

My name is Yolanda, I work at Albertsons with Tracy Cross. Some of you may have noticed our favorite checker has not been at work.

In June she started having back pain. After going to her Dr. having an MRI, it turned out she had many compression fractures down her spine. After more tests, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, (a blood cancer), which creates weak bones, the reason for her compression fractures.

Tracy absolutely misses being at work and seeing all her friends in the community. Everyone is asking why she isn't at work, how is she doing, and how can they help? Tracy would never ask for any help, but I would like to see if we can raise some funds to help offset the cost of her medical bills.

Tracy has such a positive outlook, but being in pain can make that difficult. She can walk short distances with her back brace and cane. Tracy hopes to be able to return to work but has no idea how long her recovery will take. She is currently going in twice a week for infusions and chemo to fight the cancer while also getting infusions of a bone-strengthening medication to help the healing of her fractures.
