Hello, my name is Eijai and I'm about to start the biggest endevor of my life. I am about to race the 2745 mile Tour Divide (tourdivide.org) , the longest unpaved route in the world! Although this will greatly change who I am as a person and I couldnt be more excited I am not doing it for myself. There was a spark to my decision to race the divide. My adventure partner Todd Tallman recently lost his battle with ALS. He would give anything to be able to race the Tour Divide. We had a pipe dream of riding this race together. When he died I quickly decided to race it in his honor. All funds raised here that I do not directly need to complete the Tour Divide will be donated to ALS research in Todd's name (alsa.org). 
I am entering the Tour Divide to celebrate Todd's life as well as my own.
