Hello ❤️ My name is Venus Lacalamita, and I'm blessed to be the child of my father, Rocco Lacalamita, and my mother, Grisel Lacalamita, two AMAZING human beings who have been 2 extremely hard-working immigrants in this country the United States. 

We immigrated to this country in 2001 due to the hardships in Venezuela, which left my father and my mother both without a job opportunity for years, just fighting for freedom so that we could have a better life. When we first arrived, my mother worked 3 jobs to pay all the bills after she realized that was the only way to make it in this country, and she did her best so that we could survive. With hard work and dedication, we grew up and thrived as immigrants, mostly because I learned to work hard and hustle at a young age ( 15 ). I appreciate my parents' hard work raising me and gifting us a new opportunity. 

Unfortunately, about five months ago, our life completely changed; my father was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer, which had already spread to bones, liver, and lymph nodes and kept rapidly growing. He made many changes to his lifestyle; he underwent chemotherapy and immunotherapy and has done everything he possibly can to stay alive and live as fully as possible with the time he has left.

It has been a very challenging path in supporting him and, at the same time, holding space for all the pain, suffering, and difficult emotions his loved ones have had to experience while continuing to work and support our family. Because if we don't work, we can't provide. ❤️

Though it can't compare to the physical and psychological pain my dad had to learn to deal with, It's been awful to have to witness a loved one live in such terrible suffering without being able to do anything but just witness, be present, be the strongest and financially support both of them so my mother would be able to care for him.

It took me days to finally be able to write this, and I'm extremely emotional doing so, as it's been so heavy on me. But it's also been so eye-opening and beautiful, for we have reconnected with our faith and greater purpose in the process.

Sadly, my dad's chemotherapy and immunotherapy only made his cancer worse. In April, we faced a tough life/death situation when my dad caught pneumonia; his lungs were white, and the pneumonia caused him to have lung fibrosis. He was in the hospital for about 10 days. He was in a very delicate stage, where my family and I had to make the hard decision to sign the DNI papers since he wasn't getting better at all. As you may know, this type of complication in a Stage four lung cancer patient with metastasis compromises their immune system and helps with the growing fibrosis already in their lungs, which can cause them to stop breathing at any time. For the past 3 weeks, my dad has been connected to oxygen to help him breathe. The weight of this was crushing at first, and frankly, it still is; I'm trying my best to continue to move forward & be my best self for everyone. However, I was invigorated with a fiery sense of purpose, and after a lot of research and faith to bring daddy home, I was finally able to do it. Which is honestly all I wanted….

Since my father's diagnosis in December of 2023, I have been researching HEAVILY into alternative/holistic/naturopathic healing treatments and methods for dealing with cancer and, in the process, have discovered something phenomenal. Cancer is actually curable!

I have met many people along the way who have helped their parents or have healed through cancer diagnosis themselves and have exchanged much information. I have gathered a list of treatments that I know can help my dad heal from this like it has healed others. However, none of these treatments or modalities are covered by insurance. I have paid for the first 3 treatments, but he needs to continue to get more, at least for a couple more months, and the amounts of each treatment three times a week are extremely expensive.

Both my dad and mom are unable to work in the capacity they could before, so through this and as a family, we are humbly asking you for donations so that he can transcend this diagnosis and be able to finish all the treatments he requires within the next six months.

•One-on-one with a licensed, well-researched Cancer Coach/Doctor who has guided others through their journey and can work tirelessly with my dad individually to create a lifestyle, diet, detox, and supplement regimen for him outside conventional pharmaceuticals and treatments.

•The high-quality organic supplements, oils, and medicines recommended by the Cancer Coach or doctor we work with.

•Weekly high-dose infusions of Vitamin C, Zinc, B12 & Complex, Magnesium & Ozone (for immune-system strengthening, energy & hyper-oxygenation of the cells).

•Living expenses while mom & dad are unable to work as before.

•High-quality groceries to support their body's health & restoration.

•Mental, Emotional, and spiritual counseling and therapies. We are learning that diseases can start in the mind, so working on our minds is of paramount importance to the healing process.

We understand that allopathic Western medicine has helped my dad SO MUCH! We're so grateful for that. This kind of medicine specializes in trauma and emergency, which is what he needed at the moment. However, Western medicine does not understand nor treat the cause of diseases, nor is it knowledgeable about prevention and nutrition. Insurance companies also do not yet understand or support the value of alternative treatments.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart; after only three treatments, my dad has been a totally different person, but I cannot carry all the weight on my shoulders as it has definitely taken a toll on me and my children.
