Support my family in Gaza
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Osama Jouda. I am a Palestinian from Gaza currently living in Germany.
I am raising funds to help my family survive in Gaza. Over the past 11 months, my family—like the majority of families in Gaza— has experienced numerous hardships.
My family in Gaza includes my father, my mother, my four brothers, and my three sisters. My three brothers are all married with kids. I have three nieces and two nephews. (Sondos, 8, Farid, 4, Misk, 1, Joury, 1, and the youngest one is Mohammed who was born just 5 months ago).
We have always valued hard work and self-reliance, but the current circumstances have left us with no choice but to seek help. Before 7 October, my father ran a private contracting company where my brothers also were working as engineers. Despite the constant struggles due to the siege and restrictions on construction materials, my father worked hard and continued to try for us to have a good education and a decent life. However, everything has changed. My family lost their jobs, their company, and most recently, our home in Rafah was completely destroyed. Since May, they’ve been displaced, living in difficult conditions in Khan Younis, having no means of support, and having to give up everything they owned in search of safety.
The funds collected will be spent on basic needs to survive for as long as the genocide continues: food, water, medicine, clothes, transport, diapers.
I owe it to my father, my mother and all my family to try to help them in this difficult time. This is the least I can do.
I would like to note that it was not an easy decision for us to start this campaign, but given the circumstances, we have no other choice. I hope you’ll be able to support us in this campaign, if not by donating, then by sharing with your circles.
Thank you for your support.
