Brian Crum is a one of a kind wonderful divorced father of a daughter who is his world. He is a friend to all who would not hesitate to help out whoever needs it. Loyal to a fault, Brian would give his shirt off his back to anyone. Unfortunately Brian is battling stage 3 rectal cancer and needs our help. He will not have paid leave, and his bills need to be covered. Brian needs to be able to focus on treatment and his recovery from this. We don't want him to worry about anything except getting better.
Brian has been working at his maintenance job through the initial diagnosis and chemotherapy treatments. However, he will not be able to continue to do this since he is having surgery to remove the cancer on June 7th, 2021. This will be without paid leave of absence. After this surgery, he will have to have additional chemotherapy.
The goal is to raise at least twenty thousand dollars ($20K) to alleviate some of the worry that we know Brian has. He will need help to not only pay for the mortgage, food, and just basic needs, but to get to appointments and survive. If you cannot contribute and would still like to help, please use gift cards for meals, offer to help drive to appointments, keep him in your prayers, and send all the good positive vibes/juju you can. UPDATE via Brian: I am finally resuming chemo after setback with corrective surgery. I will continue to heal my wounds and recover from extensive surgery during all this. This is my 2nd session out of 6. I go 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Basically once my body is feeling better it's zapping time again. I am very greatful for all the support I have received. I would not have made it this far without you. Unfortunately my struggle continues as I am in the final stretch of my fight. With being unemployed, disability has been filed and rejected, I have to make it to the end of my chemo sessions by Valentine's day. With pilling up bills it's hard to survive, I need your help to win!
