Help Mariah and Fettuccine
Donation protected
In 2022 Fettuccine was adopted and found her forever home with her amazing mom Mariah. A few months after adopting the quirky kitty, Mariah was accepted to a graduate program in Phoenix so she and Fettuccine made the trek from their hometown in the mountains to their new home in the desert. Now Mariah is two years closer to getting her PhD in Public Administration and Policy so that she can better help public organizations provide more sustainable services and programs to their communities.
Fettuccine is Mariah's first fur baby and her constant companion, so when she stopped eating her food, Mariah had her rushed to the vet. After much trial and error, the vets found that she had ingested a foreign object that was going to wreak havoc on her intestines, which meant Fettuccine had to have surgery or be euthanized. Being a full-time student living off of grants, Mariah knew there was no way she would be able to afford her baby's lifesaving surgery, but she saved her anyway.
This is where you come in. Fettuccine was lucky enough to have a successful surgery and had a pesky plastic llama removed from her tiny body. Unfortunately that also means that Mariah now has a very expensive vet bill to settle, that a full-time student's income just doesn't cover. Our hope is that with some help, Mariah will be able to more easily afford the surgery that saved her baby’s life.
