Goliath's Emergency Surgery

Donation protected
Our new Dachshund puppy, Goliath, recently started acting strange. On 12/31 we took him to the vet and learned he ate multiple pacifier plastic tips. The vet told us because he is so small, he may need surgery to remove them if he cannot pass them on his own. He is currently on an IV treatment to get fluids in his body to hopefully help him pass it on his own.

The money raised would help cover the cost of the diagnosis and IV treatment, this alone would be a bill of $2,000. On 1/1 we will find out if the treatment was successful. If it is not, the surgery to remove the items from his belly is quoted at $4,000 to $7,000. The surgery is pretty urgent so we would need the funds and have to make a decision by 1/3 at the latest.

Goliath means so much to our family. We got him because we just had a baby, now 5 months old, and wanted her to have a puppy to grow up with. He has filled our hearts and we want him to be around for all the childhood memories so badly. We are devastated at the thought of losing him so early in his life, he has so much life left to live.

Any amount donated would be such a blessing to our family. Being able to save our little Goliath would be our Christmas Miracle. If there is an abundance of donations or if the surgery ends up not being needed, we will gladly give the money back to the generous donors.
