update july 1: mochi is back home and stable, she just needs to rebuild her strength. thank you to everyone for helping in any way we appreciate it so much<3

mochi has been in and out of the vet since june 23rd after getting xylitol poisoning, she had to be admitted to manage her blood sugar and prevent liver failure. after being discharged i took her to her primary vet for a follow up on blood work which was cleared but once we got home she started refusing food and vomiting which lead to another urgent care visit with more tests and xrays done ensure she didn’t have blockage in her stomach. they found some sort of mineral in her stomach and her kidney levels indicated she had some bleeding going on which they assumed were ulcers so they gave me medication to help soothe that. that same night she continued to vomit into the early morning, at around 7am she threw up blood so i immediately took her back to the emergency vet where she was once again admitted for another 48 hours to keep her stable. more tests and ultrasounds were done while they kept her stable and hydrated, and the results showed something irritating her intestines. she is my absolute world and i have been an emotional wreck for the past week and have been determined to do anything i could to ensure she would be okay. unfortunately vet bills add up fairly quickly and i would greatly appreciate it if anyone would be willing to help or share this around
