My dog Ozzy is the living embodiment of kindness and empathy - there is not a being on this Earth that he cannot win over with his big open heart and kisses - as many of you may have experienced first hand. I rescued him from Westside German Shepherd Rescue in 2014. At that point, he had spent the majority of his 4 years of life in and out of various shelters. In his almost 7 years in my life, he has brought more joy than I can express and I have spent this time trying to pay back his devotion. This past year has been challenging as he has slowly started to decline, first needing rehabilitation for a back injury and hip issues and now he needs a life extending surgery. 
My heart and soul, the "goodest" boy I know, Ozzy needs a surgery to remove two of his parathyroid glands that are overproducing parathyroid hormone, therefore increasing the levels of calcium in his body to dangerous levels. The surgery requires 2 to 3 days of intensive care to monitor him 24 hours a day.  All of the donations will go directly to helping me pay for the surgery and any complications that may arise. Please help me in making sure Ozzy continues to experience life to the fullest for as long as humanly (or in this case "canine-ly") possible.
