Help Sofia

Hi, my name is Valerie. I am asking family and friends to consider please donating to help support a trip to Italy. I am the proud grandmother of a very talented soccer player named Sofia. Sofia is my granddaughter, and I am creating this fundraiser to help raise funds for Sofia to play soccer in Italy in March 2023. Sofia did receive a partial scholarship from the soccer club she represents, Northwest Wave. Although receiving this scholarship to play in Italy, It does not cover the entire cost of the trip. Traveling to Italy is a fantastic opportunity for Sofia to play aboard and gain some expert knowledge of the sport of soccer. Sofia was named MVP of the Silver Corporate Cup Game 2022, All-Star Athlete several years in a row, and All-Tournament Player of the fall 2022 season this year. Sofia's goal is to take this experience on her college journey. One of her soccer coaches told me that soccer coaches wait a lifetime to have a player like this. I didn't fully understand the statement until I watched the World Cup and saw how professional soccer players played, and I saw her playing.
