Support Kim Pici's Fight Against ALS
Donation protected
One and a half years ago, the first symptoms of ALS began to appear for Kim. Over the course of the next 18 months Kim fought back and searched for answers. Sadly, In December 2024, 18 months later, a diagnosis of Lou Gehrig’s disease was confirmed.
Only one and a half years ago Kim was a force of nature, on and off the tennis courts. She played high-level competitive tennis 3 to 4 times a week after work and on weekends. When at work, in her job as Firm Administrator for a large Law Firm, she kept things running and was always in control. She was respected in her field as an administrative leader and role model. She kept that same level of energy in her busy social life, surrounded by her tennis circle with friendships that go back decades.
Today Kim is unable to walk. Her medical and equipment needs are increasing. She will soon require in-home private care. Her house will need to be modified for accessibility. Insurance does not cover these things.
The financial toll ALS takes can be lessened by friends, colleagues, team-mates and people who care- like you. Please consider a donation to help Kim with her medical and equipment needs.
Thank you for your help and compassion.
Please share any memories of Kim or messages you have for her.
