Tuesday 27th. May brought about a devastating blow as Bex had a major heart attack with a blockage in the left anterior descending artery. Thanks to the brilliant paramedics that responded to our 999 call and the medical care received at Stoke hospital Bex is now at home recuperating.
The last few years have brought an increasing level of stress and worry. both of us have struggled to work through other still unresolved health issues, I am still waiting for another eye operation, Bex has had severe arthritis and back pain. She is a brilliantly talented artist and therapist but after significant problems receiving ADHD meds and help with pain her work has been seriously curtailed. We have sadly been scammed out of £1000s by trades people, friends and garages. The house is in desperate need of remedial work, with half started plastering, cracks in walls, radiators hanging off walls, and a dilapidated kitchen.
Bex has put all her efforts and thoughts into supporting not just her family and meeting their needs which are complex but also supporting others that are suffering trauma or have been going through their own crisis'.
Bex now needs a to recover in a stress free environment without the worries snd anxieties that have contributed to this heart attack. She needs a comfortable home, without worrying how to pay the bills, where the next food shop is coming from and whether the house is safe to live in, the wolf really does need keeping from the door.
We have been struggling for work for a few months and reaching the limits on available credit and are behind with household bills and the mortgage. this inopportune heart attack has really been the final hit we can take.
We have a new creative business and plenty of plans but right now Bex needs to recover without the financial stress. Straight away we have a mortgage to pay an energy bill, and loan repayments and initial monies will go towards these and then getting the house in order.
This time Bex needs a helping hand after years of thinking of others. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
