The BREAST is Yet to come

Lisa and Matt started their journey as a fun loving couple 10 years ago. In 2011 Lisa made Matt an honest man and their life as a combined force began. After 12 months of trying to start their family with the assistance of fertility treatments they were faced with an obstacle. Lisa discovered a lump in her breast while doing a self check. She quickly made an appointment with her OBGYN, after testing the doctors discovered the lump was cancerous. Lisa has been diagnosed with Stage Three Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This was devestating news but in Lisa fashion she has been fighting like a champ. The fertility treatments comenced immediately. At this time Lisa has taken the brave step to harvest her eggs, due to chemo her ovaries will be placed in jeopardy and the chance of her conceiving naturally may be hindered. Now Lisa will undergo her second surgery to have the port placed and her lumpectomy. Once that procedure is complete she will endure 20 weeks of intense chemo treatment. Through all of this Lisa has stayed bubbly and optimistic. Her faith in God and humanity is a breath of fresh air.
