Lang Rink Fundraiser

Donation protected
There isn't a day that goes by where you won't find children at the oldest rink in Saskatchewan! This is the beauty of living in Lang, a small Saskatchewan town with hockey at its core.

Built in 1928, the Lang rink operates with hard work and dedication from our community volunteers who scrape the ice surface formation by hand, shovel the snow out the window, and flood with the oldest walking Zamboni you have ever seen. Our community spirit is endless and we are proud to have created the space for our youth to fall in love with the game of hockey while the parents connect over a cup of coffee or play a cold game of shinny.

We continue to rally every season for the first cold floods and even host U9, U7, and U11 hockey, along with shinny and old-timer hockey. Lang Rink continues to stand the test of time and be the hub for the sport of hockey after all these years. It's also the ultimate balance test, entering the ice surface, have you seen our trending Tik Tok video of our ladder entry onto the ice?

We boast a legacy that includes intense rivalries, frigid temperatures, and packed standing room only (we only stand for games), and even some intense Senior Hockey with the likes of Minister of Government Relations, Don McMorris. Our goal is to continue to foster our proud legacy and keep the charm of the oldest rink in Saskatchewan alive with fundraising for basic maintenance, kitchen, and bathroom repairs, and some grease for our ladder pulley.

Thank you for supporting our timeless barn!
