Jimmy is a fighter. Still on the vent, getting tpn, and pain meds. White blood cells elevated, and running a temp. Doctor just came in, ordered broadspan antibiotics, while waiting for cultures to grow. Bullet also touch his esophagus, so getting a CT Scan to look for leaking (possible cause of infection.) I was wrong about the bullet being removed from his liver, doctors are still waiting on that. Jimmy still has issues going on, but he's a strong guy and he's in very good hands. Thank you all for caring and thank you for your donations. Keep praying.
Jimmy is the victim of the random shooting that occurred May 31st at the corner of Troy Ave. and Carson St. in Indianapolis. He was shot with an assault rifle by a man who should not have left him home, as he was on house arrest. The "alledged" shooter and was thankfully caught and arrested. Bullets damaged Jimmy's spleen (which has been removed), both kidneys, liver, colon, and by the grace of God only grazed his spine. Surgeons decided to leave the bullet in his liver for now. That surgery is yet to come. Two surgeries have been completed. Jimmy is married to my granddaughter and they have 5 children to raise. Two of their own, two nieces, and a nephew. They are planning to adopt the nieces and nephew. Ages 1, 2, 4, 6, and 13. This family needs help with the medical bills that are racking up and regular bills since Jimmy is the main wage earner, and he's got a long road of recovery ahead of him. Please help. Thank you for reading, and thank you in advance for helping.
