Pooping For Asheville: Because You Give A Squat!
Donation protected
Hello! I’m a resident of Asheville, NC, who has evacuated my family but am still very much in touch with my community on the ground and their needs.
Hurricane Helene caused catastrophic damage to the entire region, and Asheville residents may not have water service for months. Water is heavy, and the potable water that is obtained by residents is precious—often too precious to literally just flush down the toilet. Simple DIY composting toilets can help.

Money raised here will go towards building and supplying simple kits to the residents:
5-gallon buckets with lids, rolls of trash bags, pool noodles (makes a cushy seat when placed around the bucket lip), toilet paper, mulch, or sawdust, printed instruction sheets on best practices.

So next time you flush one down, donate a dollar to the people who can't. Poop for Asheville, because you give a squat!
Funding beyond the need will be diverted to Beloved Asheville who are doing excellent work to organize and supply incoming donations
