A place to call home

Please help fund a new home for me and my daughter. On short notice, we were recently forced out of our home due to irreparable damage.

During the summer, one side of the house completely lost power making it impossible to use our AC. Our summer saw temperatures as high as 105°F. During November, the electricity in the room where we kept our washer and dryer stopped working also. In addition, our kitchen sink stopped working.

We continued trying to live in our place to save as much money as possible. We knew we would have to replace our mobile home sooner than anticipated. We placed an order to begin manufacture of the new mobile home in August. It takes many months for the new mobile home to be built. Recently, we thought we smelled gas, and called PG&E. Thankfully no gas leaks were found, however, my stove had to be shut off since it was very old, beyond repair, and at risk of putting us in danger. In December, we could no longer stay in our home. It was no longer safe and inhabitable.

During this time, I was planning to get a second job and continue saving as much money as possible. Unfortunately, my plans for additional employment were impacted by recurring and debilitating back pain. I have, also, been trying to get a bigger loan with no luck.

This is my last resource. I'm praying, hoping, and asking, with your help, to be able to secure the payment I need in order to have a place for my daughter and me to live for future years.

Currently, my daughter and I are staying at my sister’s home, in her laundry room.

We are hoping for a miracle to happen. We are hoping for your generous support to fund the amount needed to secure our new mobile home outside of the current loan that I have secured. My current job pays a steady income to cover the monthly loan payments once we are able to move in.
