AAOn Friday May 8th, 2015 Benton Davis, the son of Brad and Marcy Davis, was diagnosed with ALL, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Brad and Marcy had been concened with Benton's coloring, his constant brusing, and increasing muscle pain. On Wednesday, Benton had been complaining of constant pain in his ankle. With nothing helping with the pain they decidedW to take Benton to the emergency room.
Once there, the testing began and it was discovered that his platlets were extremely low. It was then decided that Benton would be transferred to OSF in Peoria. It was an extremely stressful night for everyone. More tests were done and he recieved a blood transfusion on Thursday.
The family will be traveling to Memphis to St. Jude on Sunday. Benton and Marcy will remain there for at least 6 weeks. Benton's treatment will begin on Monday.
