Dear friends,
Listening to Charles riff about music with a huge, beautiful smile on his face is a magical thing that most of us have experienced.
Unfortunately, Charles was in a terrible accident in August 2019. After celebrating Coltrane’s 12th birthday at the Hollywood Bowl, Charles was happily walking to his car, when a drunk driver went up on the curb and hit him from behind. He was sent flying over the car, landed 25 feet away in the middle of the boulevard, and was unconscious for several minutes. He miraculously survived, but suffered many injuries and trauma, one of which resulted in him having seven teeth extracted, including his two front teeth. After multiple surgeries, months of rehabilitation, and jaw reconstruction, Charles is finally ready for his beautiful new implants! Regrettably, the man who hit him did not have proper insurance and Charles's coverage is not sufficient.
On behalf of his family, I'm humbly reaching out to our community to raise the money for Charles‘s new teeth. I know that times are incredibly hard, so anything that you can do to help is profoundly appreciated.
