I have the amazing opportunity to study at Great Commission Bible Institute. This is a one year program designed solely around teaching straight from the bible. In one year it covers the entire bible and we are taught how to properly examine scripture and it gives us a greater foundation in our faith. Our primary teacher is Randy Smith who has a Doctorate of Philosophy and has been involved in teaching and ministry for over 35 years. While attending GCBI I will have the opportunity to intern at a church of my choice and help out in the ministry area I am called to. I am excited to partner with a church in serve in their kids ministry because that is where I feel my calling most. We are taught straight from the word and then taught to go out and be disciples. The school is in Avon Park Florida and it takes place from August to end of May. The total cost for the year is $8,000 which includes room, board, and tuition. I am heading down August 13th but if my goal is not met there is an option to donate to me throughout the year. I will also be working while I am down there to support myself. I am currently working right now as well to help prepare my resources. After leaving GCBI I have the option of transferring my credits to a bible college. Thank you for everyone who has supported me up to this point and who will support me as I continue the journey God has created for me. Matthew 28: 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
